Just about 3-minute walk to Bach Dang street, the Tran Phu street has many nice mini hotels. With 18USD up, you can stay in a large room with A/C, Tivi, fridge, free internet access...

Pham Phu Thu, a small street linking Bach Dang street and Tran Phu street has many good mini hotels, some with artful design and friendly staff. The room rate starts at 18USD up

Dong Da street is quite far from the city center but it has some 3-star nice hotels including the famous Saigontourane hotel and Danang hotel

When the hotels in the city center are full, you can move to 3/2 street which has some mini good hotels.

Other hotels on the other streets: Trung Nu Vuong, Nguyen Thai Hoc, Hung Vuong, Phan Dinh Phung. Some hotel are really nice with good location near Tran Phu street and Han river.

There are some 4 and 5-star hotels in the city

Summer and holiday see a lot of Vietnamese tourists. So its good to book room in advance

Bad reputation: during "International fireworks festival", the hotel's room rate maybe doubles normal days and there is difference between room rate for Vietnamese and foreigner
