Photo Contest “Savour Vietnam”

On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the liberation of Southern Vietnam and the reunification of the country (April 30, 1975 –April 30, 2015) and with the aim of honoring the beauty of its culture, tradition, people & natural beauty, Saigontourist and Tuoi Tre launch the Photo Contest “Savour Vietnam”.

Content:

- Recording beautiful pictures describing Vietnamese tradition, culture, people, natural beauty…etc.

Eligibility:

- The contest is open to Vietnamese people and Foreigner at all ages and careers.

Deadline:

- From June 23, 2014 to Feb 28, 2015

Submission of entries:

- Photographs taken with camera or digital camera are all accepted.

- Entry of not less than 3MB in size must be submitted online (register and submit) at http://bansacviet.tuoitre.vn or files should mailed to the organizers at bansacviet@tuoitre.com.vn. Viewers can have a look at all entries at http://bansacviet.tuoitre.vn

- Photographs must be in high-resolution

- Digital manipulation that distorts the reality of the photos will not be allowed. Only basic enhancement such as sharpening, contrast adjustment, or simple cropping are allowed.

- Photos must be submitted together with a maximum of 100-word description including photos’ name, where and when the photos are taken and a story behind (if any). Entrants take responsibility for the information provided.

- File name for each photo should be clearly labeled with the entrant’s name, phone number, email (if any).

- Photos that have won prizes in prior contests; have been posted in personal pages, forum; have been published or taken more than 36 months from the date of the submission are not eligible.

- Limit 30 entries per person, or 06 different collections of related photos (not more than 10 photos per collection).

Prizes:

1. Monthly prize (one a month in 8 months): VND 7 mil./month

Tuoi Tre will post the picture of the month on its printing publication and announce the prize-winner.

The mid-term prize giving ceremony: scheduled in Dec, 2014 for the picture of July, Aug, Sept and Oct for the entries received from June 23, 2014 to Oct 31,2014.

- Saigontourist Holding Company sponsors the non-resident Ho Chi Minh city prize-winners 2 night hotel in Ho Chi Minh city to receive prize. The rooms are booked by Saigontourist only.

The prize giving ceremony: scheduled by April 30, 2015 for the pictures of Nov & Dec, 2014 and Jan & Feb,2015 for the entries received from Nov 1,2014 to Feb 28,2015.

- Saigontourist Holding Company sponsors the non-resident Ho Chi Minh city prize-winners 2 night hotel in Ho Chi Minh city to receive prize. The rooms are booked by Saigontourist only.

2. Final prizes:

- The first prize : VND 40 mil. + travel voucher valued at VND 20 mil. sponsored by Saigontourist Travel Services

- 02 second prizes: VND 25 mil. + travel voucher valued at VND 10 mil. sponsored by Saigontourist Travel Services (each)

- 03 third prizes : VND 15 mil. + travel voucher valued at VND 5 mil sponsored by Saigontourist Travel Services (each)

- 04 consolation prizes: VND 10 mil./each

- Saigontourist Holding Company sponsors the non-resident Ho Chi Minh city prize-winners 2 night hotel in Ho Chi Minh city to receive prize. The rooms are booked by Saigontourist only.

- Winners will be honored in the prize giving ceremony scheduled by April 30, 2015.
