Miễn thị thực vào Myanmar cho người Việt

Theo thông tin từ Bộ Ngoại giao, kể từ ngày 26.10, Hiệp định giữa Chính phủ nước CHXHCN Việt Nam và chính phủ nước CHLB Myanmar về miễn thị thực cho người mang hộ chiếu phổ thông chính thức có hiệu lực.

Theo hiệp định này, công dân Việt Nam mang hộ chiếu phổ thông còn giá trị ít nhất 6 tháng được miễn thị thực khi nhập cảnh, xuất cảnh và quá cảnh lãnh thổ Myanmar và ngược lại. Thời gian lưu trú được giới hạn không quá 14 ngày. Nếu có nhu cầu nhập cảnh và lưu trú với thời hạn trên 14 ngày thì phải làm thủ tục xin thị thực trước khi nhập cảnh.

How to apply:

Step1: Download and fill out the Application form (http://www.gmas.com.vn/index.php?newlang=english)

Two 3x4 photos

Original passport

Step 2: Come to Myanmar consulate and pay 35USD.

Step 3: Wait for your visa. It often takes about 7 working days to have visa (Its good to apply for visa one month before)

Note for filling out Application form: In the "Occupation" space, its best not to fill in Journalist/Reporter!

In (a) cash of "Financial resources in Myanmar" just simply put "Kyat". Leave blanks of (b) Bank deposit & (c) Name of bank & (d) Amount
