In the short term, the existing passenger terminal will be expanded to serve nine million passengers per year, while a new terminal for international visitors with a capacity of 2-4 million passengers annually will also be added.
The project will be launched next month to meet the deadline to promptly serve the high-level delegations of regional officials to attend the APEC Summit 2017 in Da Nang, Deputy Minister of Transport Nguyen Nhat said.
