TuoiTreNews.vn - The southern region of Vietnam has gone through the coldest weather this year with the average temperature going down from 1-2 degrees Celsius, according to the southern hydrometeorology center.
The lowest temperature was recorded at 18.5 degrees Celsius at Long Khanh District of Dong Nai Province.
The temperature also went down to 19.5 degrees Celsius at Phuoc Long District in Binh Phuoc Province, 20.7 degrees Celsius in So Sao of Binh Duong Province, and 20.3 degrees in Bien Hoa City of Dong Nai.
Similarly, the temperature in the Mekong Delta region had a slight reduction to 20.5 degrees Celsius in Moc Hoa District of Long An Province, 21 degrees in Cao Lanh of Dong Thap Province, and 21.2 degrees in My Tho of Tien Giang Province.
In Ho Chi Minh City, the temperature at districts Tan Binh and Nha Be were from 21 – 21.7 degrees Celsius.
Le Thi Xuan Lan, a weather pundit based in Ho Chi Minh City, forecast that the cool temperature will last till December 20, before increasing until December 24, when another cold spell is expected to follow.
